The Imitation Game: First trailer and premiere at LFF

The Imitation Game will open the London Film Festival on 8 October 2014. Followed by this announcement was the release of the very first trailer.

 The long awaited first trailer for The Imitation Game was finally released today. The drama focusses on the life and works of mathematician Alan Turing who was the lead codebreaker of the German Enigma during the 2nd World War and is known today as the father of modern computing. Alan Turing will be played by Benedict Cumberbatch. The movie also stars Keira Knightley, Matthew Goode, Mark Strong, Rory Kinnear and Charles Dance. 

It was also announced that The Imitation Game will open the London Film Festival 2014. On 8 October the movie will celebrate its European Premiere at the Odeon in Leicester Square, London and the stars are expected to walk the red carpet. Priority Booking for the festival opens on 10 September for Champion Members and on 11 September for Cinema Members. The movie officially opens on 14 November in the UK and on 21 November in the US. A release date for the German market has not been announce yet.
