Murder is Easy is one episode of the popular British television series Christie’s Marple. The 25th Agatha Christie mystery novel “Murder is Easy” appeared in 1939. In Christie’s original artwork Superintendet Battle investigates, in the film adaptation the grumpy amateur sleuth Miss Marple is to solve the case as usual murderous.

In the murderous environment Benedict Cumberbatch plays Luke Fitzwilliam.

What is it about:
Miss Marple is on a train to London when Lavinia Pinkerton, a woman completely unknown to her, tells her confidentially that she was sure that all the recent deaths in her village Wychwood are murders. Shortly thereafter, Lavinia is dead. And although it looks like an accident, Miss Marple decides to go to Wychwood to look after things. And indeed, the clever Miss Marple tracks an old motif, whose secret someone wants to protect at all costs – and to do so not even shies away from murder…
