Finally on News Year’s Day 2016, the long awaited new Christmas Special of Sherlock was broadcastet.

The Abominable Bride takes us back to Victorian England and Sherlock consults with a pipe instead of nicotine badges, lovely costumes let the 19th century revive, horse-drawn carriages instead of black cabs come along. Bakerstreet 221B is still there as well as Mrs. Hudson, Sherlock’s violine play enchants us and…..some really really surprising other things happen….

The Special ends with another cliffhanger and fans again are looking forward excitedly to more Sherlock now.

New this time was a worldwide broadcast at cinemas except in German speaking countries. Due to exclusive broadcasting rights of the German ARD there was no pre-broadcast allowed.

What happens in The Abominable Bride:

Sherlock consults in the 19th century when a bride seems to resurrect in a mysterious way and murder keep Londonin suspense. Trying to solve the mysterious case Sherlock faces his alter ego and more….
